JJ joined Dale Carnegie as a franchise owner in 2000 and is a Managing Partner for Dale Carnegie of Virginia and Georgia.
Annually, JJ speaks to dozens of groups on the topics of employee engagement, culture, leadership development, and sales. He facilitates training and coaching to leadership teams in many industries including manufacturing, construction, engineering, technology, and various service industries.
His recent accomplishments include induction to the Dale Carnegie Millennium Group, a collection of the top 20 franchises in the world. He was a part of the Blue Ridge Business Journal top 20 under 40 business leaders in the region and most recently was ranked a top 25 sales professional by Valley Business Front Magazine.
JJ serves on many community boards including Chairman of the Relationship Foundation of Virginia, Past-Chairman of the Virginia Council for CEOs, and Past-President of the International Dale Carnegie Franchisee Association. He is also involved in Goochland Youth Athletic Association Football.
He obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Roanoke College and resides in Goochland, Virginia with his wife Samantha and children Ike and Millie.
