Sidney was born and raised in Hollis, Queens in NYC. He was raised by his mother along with an older and younger sister, Yolanda and Yevette. He is an experienced salesperson with over 20 years sales experience. He began his sales career by taking the Dale Carnegie Course in NYC. He then went on to sell software, data information, and data services for various companies like MicroEdge, Equifax, Sprint and Comcast.

He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications/Public Relations from Mt. St. Mary College in upstate Newburgh, NY, where he played basketball, wrote for the school newspaper, and dabbled a little in school politics as a member of the Resident Living Council. Besides a Bachelor’s Degree, he came away from MSMC with his biggest pride, his wife of 26 years: Verlesia “Lisa” Roberts-Freeman. They were blessed with two beautiful children, Lil Sid and Sage. Lil Sid is a senior at GA Southern University in Statesboro, GA earning his degree in Engineering. Sage is currently a sophomore at the University of GA in Athens studying Chemistry.

Sidney returned to school in 2004 and obtained his MBA in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix in 2006. Sidney has a life-long love of basketball and is currently a GA High School Association certified basketball referee.

In his spare time, you can find Sid reading a book with the members of ANEW Literary Society where he has been a member for 11 years. He also enjoys hanging out with his two dogs Maxie and Giant. Sidney loves watching all sports and roots heavily for his beloved NY Giants, the NY Yankees, and any team that LeBron James is currently on.
